Dust Collection SystemThe Cartfiltre can operate under negative or positive pressure. Air, laden with particles and dust, enters the dust collector through one or more air inlets in the hopper. Heavy particles are projected by gravity into the lower hopper for continuous recovery by a pneumatic, mechanical, or storage retrieval system. The finest dusts, in an upward air movement, are captured in the filter section by vertically installed filter cartridges. The purified air is returned to the plant or to the atmosphere. The filter elements, laden with fine dust, are continuously cleaned by a pulsed-air jet cleaning system, controlled by a sequential programmer.
