Dust Collection ComponentWhen the application permits, the use of cyclones and multicyclones is the optimal choice for reducing the operating and maintenance costs of your dust collection and pneumatic conveying equipment. Cyclones and multicyclones utilize centrifugal action as their operating principle. Particle-laden air enters the cyclone through a tangential inlet. The centrifugal action forces the particles to spin and precipitate against the cylinder wall, creating a downward vortex of particles towards the discharge outlet. The air is then discharged through the central chimney, which is created by the internal pressure difference within the cyclone.
